Exceptional museum quality model locomotives for modellers, enthusiasts and collectors
Production reached 170 locomotives and was completed in 2017, so there no new locomotives left in stock. We still occasionally acquire second-hand locomotives in a variety of conditions, which subject to passing our engineering checks and sometimes major work is undertaken, we are able to offer second hand.
Of the 170 locomotives made we actually had 45 variations within 5 broad categories:
45XX Type 1: GWR plain green early livery 21XX numbering 15 Models
Flat tanks, short smokebox, small bunker, back feed, short chassis,
Early parallel chimney, square footplate.
3 locomotives were painted in 1906 livery red chassis and cylinders.
45XX Type 2: GWR plain green 45XX numbering 15 Models
Flat tanks, long smokebox, small bunker, top feed, short chassis,
Copper cap chimney, square footplate.
45XX Type 3: GWR plain green, BR lined black BR lined green 35 Models
Flat tanks, long smokebox, large bunker, top feed, long chassis,
Reversed taper cast iron chimney, some curved some square footplate.
45XX Type 4: GWR plain green, BR plain black, BR lined green 45 Models

Reversed taper cast iron chimney, outside steampipes,
Curved footplate.
45XX Type 5: GWR plain green, BR plain black, BR lined green 45 Models
Sloping enlarged tanks, long smokebox, large bunker, top feed,

Amazingly detailed the engines are fitted with removable roofs, opening smokebox doors, and working firebox cover plates and cab doors. These locomotives have working inside motion with excellent sound in DCC mode. Helical gearboxes and powerful motors give great running performance. Easily the best 45XX/4575 models ever made, they are highly sought after in the second-hand market.
