6002 King William IV
This superb model of No.6002 King William IV portrays the locomotive in the years 1953-56 when it featured the particularly handsome combination of a single chimney with the later, larger curved steam pipes. These muscular-looking pipes were progressively fitted to the class following trials with 6016 to overcome the tendency of the original steam pipes to flex and fracture.
The model has been professionally weathered by the master of such things, Martyn Welch, and represents a well cared for top link loco just as it would have appeared in everyday service on the WR's crack expresses. 6002 is in brand new condition having been a display model with the present owner and not used
Switchable DC/DCC with sound.
